ROLE OVERVIEW: We're currently looking for a script-writer (we call them Venture Builders) for business video essays. You don't need experience, all you need is a passion for telling stories and potential at weaving stories.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Work on scripts for engaging documentaries in the business essay niche of YouTube with a typical length of 2500-4000 words
Work with the rest of the production team, [*****] animators, video editors and the company's management to bring your story and documentary ideas to life
Join a team of other ambitious Writers and Venture Builders
Participate in weekly team calls and coaching sessions with senior team members
WHO YOU ARE:
A deep understanding of the finance and business niche
Passion for telling stories in a way that engages audiences across the globe
Great communication abilities to coordinate with team members and ensure a smooth production pipeline
Ambition to grow to more senior roles such as becoming a channel manager
High writing standards and strong dedication towards flawless grammar
MORE INFORMATION
EMPLOYMENT: We offer part-time/freelance work with the option to convert to a fixed contract - or you can become a co-founder (let me explain further down below).
SALARY: As a freelancer per script OR full-time/part-time employment depending on your preference and experience.
PERSPECTIVE: There's the possibility of getting revenue shares or becoming a co-owner of YouTube channels we are working with (in addition to your fixed salary). This is not just a theoretical option but the PREFERRED outcome of our collaboration at some point.
PROCESS: We might provide you with ideas for topics ([*****] a documentary about the Hell's Angels) - you do further research and write a script. There will be co-reviewers helping you to iterate on the script. In addition, we love it if you take initiative: Research interesting stories, ideas to push the channel, etc.
