This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for services, subscriptions, job posts, and marketplace transactions on WORKBAY. By using our platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted only under the following conditions:
🔸Duplicate payments caused by technical errors
🔸Accidental overcharges or system billing mistakes
🔸Failure of a paid service to activate, such as job posts not appearing
🔸Subscription features not delivered as advertised
Refund decisions are based on our internal verification process.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
🔸Payments made directly between freelancers and clients
🔸Completed work, ongoing projects, or contracts between users
🔸Fees for job postings that have already been published
🔸Subscription periods that have already begun
🔸Platform service fees that have been used to access features
🔸Off-platform payments or transactions
🔸Refund requests made after 7 days of payment
WORKBAY is not responsible for disputes, payments, or outcomes between users.
3. Refunds for Job Posts & Subscriptions
3.1. Job Posting Fees
Refunds for job posts may only be issued if:
🔸The job post failed to publish due to a system error
🔸You accidentally made a duplicate purchase
3.2. Subscription Plans
Refunds for subscription plans may only be approved if:
🔸The subscription features were not delivered
🔸There was a billing error
Partial refunds are not offered for unused time or early cancellation.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund:

2. Provide your name, account email, payment details, and reason for the refund
3. Our team will review your request within 5–10 business days
4. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method
5. User-to-User Payments
WORKBAY does not manage or guarantee payments between:
🔸Employers and freelancers
🔸Clients and service providers
🔸Job seekers and third parties
Users must resolve payment disputes directly with each other.
6. Fraud & Abuse Policy
We may refuse refunds in cases of:
🔸Suspicious activity
🔸Misuse of the platform
🔸Attempted fraud
🔸Violations of the Terms & Conditions
7. Changes to This Refund Policy:
WORKBAY may update this Refund Policy at any time to improve clarity or meet legal requirements.
Updated versions will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
